"As a 2021 Covid bride who got engaged before the pandemic, I had to change a lot during the planning process. Not only did I have to reduce my guest list, but many of my invited guests did not feel comfortable attending. I created a wedding hashtag to share my big day, but the only photo posted with it was of a moose head in the men's bathroom!

My bridal party was too busy with the day's events to post anything, and many of my guests were unaware it was even an option. Given the chance, I would have hired a social media coordinator so I could not only share the special, candid moments with my loved ones but also look back on everything I missed."

"Having gotten engaged in the summer of 2019, nothing could have prepared me for the Covid whirlwind. Merely three weeks before my wedding in October of 2020, I had to cancel at my venue and pull together a 50-guest backyard wedding, cut down from a list of 150. I was devastated that important members of my family were unable to attend.

I created a Facebook group, live-streamed the ceremony, and allowed my guests to post to the group as much as they wanted throughout the night. My loved ones felt involved, but I wish my guests and bridal party hadn't been saddled with the responsibility of capturing and posting content. If I'd had a social media coordinator, I would definitely have had more content to look back on without the responsibility of doing it myself on top of everything else."
